I lied

Said I was finished at stt's, I lied. Basically didnt really played since tues til fri so I need to get raking asap. Played a shite load of stt's yesterday and won about $5,5k in them. Won $3.5k in plo 25/50. Got it off the fish who did me in 50/100 so got some cash back off him. So scopped $9k for the day. Played sports last night, some good banter. Playen a few stt's now then out for some r&r. Then the Ecoop 2mor which I am fting. I'll report on how I fted on monday.

Ouch!

Just after doin a fair bit in the 50/100, lost $14k in the game. Was playen a guy heads up. Was actually really happy with how I played. Didn't really get the breaks in the big pots. Was a strong favourite in 2 $11k pots but no good in eithier. Well ya cant run good all the time and I knew there was going be days like this after how good I ran.
I am pretty sick of the sit and go's so going to go back to plo. Really enjoyed them for the 3 or 4 days I played them, think I got through about 120+ in that time which is good work. Made more money than I hoped and raked what I wanted.Playen a fair few tournies at the mo with the ecoop on but cannt really seem to catch a break at the important times. The acc is cleaned so will lodge $3k on 2mor and get grinding 2/4. Doing $11k for the week, aim is to get it back to a 4 figure sum for the week.
In other news I got an Albatross when I played golf on Monday. Thats right pinged it in from 150 meters out on a par 5. We wont mention the rest of the round.

WP to the lads

Well my own weekend was boring enough, grinded a few more stt's. Saw big Al in 25/50 so decided to jump in and give the man a spin(it was a full ring game). We played a monster pot in the end,got it all in on the turn, my set was ahead v his j hi but I was drawing so thin. Think he the biggest st8 draw I hav seen. All the same defo enjoyed getting one over him.
The main excitment of the night came first in the Ladbrooks Million Satteilte where Od and Noel Hayes made the final six. Od has been HU for this package twice before and got unlucky both times. Noel was sent to the rail with 5 left when aa was no good v qj. It was 3rd time lucky for Od who took down the very hard to come by Ladbrooks million ticket.
Next up was chub in the ECOOP event 3. Me and him did a deal if one of us fted we'd give the other 10% and 20% if one of us won it. Chub was flying in it form a mile out, but with 25 left he ran ak into aa for a monster pot. However he stuck to the task and made the final with an ok stack. He was so card for the final table but managed to hang in to come 6th for $20k for nice pay.
I ended up doin $9k for the week. May stick at the stt's but already starting to kinda get sick of them.

STT'S

Well played about 90 sst's in 3 days. Was goin badly enough in them at the start so I moved up levels. At the start it was a mixture of $50 and $100, then on to $100 and $200 and now I am playen $200 and $500. At the start I was playen mostly turbo's(4 min blinds) and super turbo's (1 mins blinds) as was just looking to get rake and had no interest in usin my brain. The super turbo's have a little more skill than roullete. In the $500 I am playen the 10 mins blinds and its no surprise thats where I have had most of my success. So after 3 days I am ahead about $3,5k and raked a monster amount. I'll take to day off today and be back at them 2mor. I'll prob stick them out for a few more days as I am still enjoying playing them and am doing alright at them.

Rag2cheater

Played 9 more $200 sst's last night while the match was on, bubbled 6 of them and no good in the other 3 so lost $2k got fairly ul. Headed out last night. Very creepy Harcourt street. Ran in to Mark McD. Then meet reesy and od and hit the chipper. Thats where the real fun started. Garry Clarke was in there. Chanted various tunes to the beat of "Cheating Scum Cheating Scum" at him for literally 20 mins. In between reesy filled him in on his delighted that Garry wouldnt be playen the WSOP (he obv didnt no the broadies helped stick him in) as the greatest poker tourny in the world didnt need to be graced by a dirty cheat. Have a Gaa match tonight wont play much today and to hanging to play now.

Garry isnt a cheat its just a joke in case any one was wondering.

Spanked red raw in 100/200

As the title suggests I took a shot at 100/200 plo and got spanked to the tune of $12k. The reason I took the shot is because theres a major fish going around those levels.(I had just won $3k off him in 50/100 that morning and $10k off him in 50/100 a few days ago) He had $40k and I had good seating position on him in the game. I defo forced my normal game and didnt play up to par which was a bit disapointing. However I dont think I have brought my A game any time I am playing my first game at a higher level. There are major differences even from 50/100 and I will learn form the mistakes I made. When you put it in the context that $12k is just over half a buyin it really is easier to understand how quick it would go, if I was playen 1/2 it would have been a $120 loss. Do not know if that makes it easier to understand but it certainly helps me sleep at night.
So that puts me $15k behind for the week and the account was at 0. Reloaded for $3k which is my max deposit. I new I wouldnt be mentally right to got back grinding 2/4 and 3/6 plo. I decided I play stt's for a few days for a few reasons. 1)I need to rake a fuck loads for the rest of the month and the rake on these things is unreal. Thankfully for me Green Joker Poker have and excellent rewards scheme for their players so it actually works out quite good for me palying them. 2) I am not playing cash so I am not thinking this call is dick all compared to the stakes I was playing, I am more concentrating is this a profitable call or not. 3) Prepares me for Vegas where I will prob play a few stt's satteilites. I am down a few 400 in them and palyed 42 over about a 5 hr period which is about 9 an hour which isnt bad going. The plan is to keep going at them until I win $2k from them and I reckon this will also get me $1k in rb. I am playen mostly $100 one's but also some $200 aswel.

Back to normality

Started off yesterday continueing to run like the man above and was nearly $5k ahead. Most of this came from 25/50. In my post yesterday I said I was going to grind it about in lower limits, as soon as I clicked sumbit I was in 2 25/50 games but to be fair there was decent value. As we all now value is basically a poker players God. Ended up doin some back and ended the afternoon session up $2k.
Played again in the evening and was still up smallish like under 1k for the day. Then got in to a 25/50 game lost 2 biggish pots margingal farourite in the $5.5k and marginal dog in the $3.5k. Did $5k in the game(25/50 can be costly when your not winning ever pot). All so lost a pot in 5/10, so was down down just under $6k for the day. Decided it was a good time to hit the hay.
Twice yetserday lost pots to Irish lads in 25/50 and 5/10, as soon it was shipped to them, they were loling goin you cant afford it, bit annoying but suppose I can.
Did an unreal slow role on some lad in the 25/50 yesterday. I flop nut flush. He had about $450 left and pots $500 so I bet $50 and he ships. I type in chat "lol I have the bare ace" "your a brave man" let the clock wind down and then call him with the stones, hes drawing nicely dead with the q hi flush. LOLERS.

Decide to play 25-50 PLO as always when tilting hard, Drop anonther 5k at plo only 2k left in account obv put some sick beats on people + work that 2k up to 15k keep telling my self to quit but obv cant cuz im a degen lose 5k back now

Ship it Holla Bitch

Well last week was an unreal week. Played 5 days won 5 days. The wrost day of the week was a $5k winning day, only ran good that day. I had $10k winning sessions in 50/100 and 25/50 but the hi-light of the week was winning 10 buyins in 10/20 and just sitting there with a $22k stack loling at the lads I had just destroyed by hitting the river every time.
I am now much more comfortable in 25/50 but I am still very careful of whats game I get into avoiding the big names unless there are 2 major fish in the game. With the week over I have cleared just under $65k. This by far in away the greatest week I have ever had. As I was already comfortable with the role I had I have withdraw all the profit and will invest it in non poker interests.
Keeping bumping in to Gavin Kelly on nights out. Anyway was tellin him I am tinking of movin down levels as I know my lucks going to change. He quickly informed me this is the dumbest thing he has ever heard, which is a very fair point but I still think I will as I need to increase by rake to achieve a deal of have been on which is worth a fair bit to me in terms of vegas buyins. Obv if I see a gg at 25/50 I'll be in there but defo wanna play more hands this week.

New highs

Well yesterday I had my joint best day ever and as a result I am now having my best week ever. Most of my winnings came from a 10/20 game where I won 10 buyins. Won one $8k pot where I was 46% other than that I was basically getting it in ahead on holding. I did some amount of holding it has to be said. In total I won $23k for the day.
Played a small bit today won 4 buyins in 10/20 but lost a $4k buyin in 25/50. I lost the $8k pot. I am not sure how badly I played it or even if I played it badly. So ahead about $4k today. Plan on putting in some more hours tonight.
Planning on running the Dublin marathon again next year. Last year I ran it with 2 months training and got a time of 4hrs 30 mins. This year hopeing to break 4hrs. So I have decided to start doing a small bit early. Ran 10k today with the lads got 52mins which wasnt too bad. No point trying to start in America cause I no I just wont so I reckon if I get lift off in Ireland it will be easier just to keep it up in America.

Ah yeh 1 outers

Another good day in the office, which involved hitting a one outer in a $6,5k pot after being set over set in a blind on blind situation. I hit jjj v kkk but quickly making quads on the turn. Within the next few hands I win the $13,5k pot thankfully this time I need no help except to avoid a one outer on the river. Only played for 40 mins won $9.5k in 25/50 and $1.5k in 10/20.
I really need to play more but the weather is too good. Someone should event a laptop that can be used in the sun.

Marching on

Had another good at day 25/50 yesterday and won $7k. Today instead of hitting the gym went for a hike in the mountains and a swim in a lake it. It was the coldist lake ever. Put some time into my vegas timetable. At the mo the plan is to play the $2,5k roe, $3k nlh and $2,5k 6 handed nlh between the 12th-18th of june. That will burn $8k of the $25k worth of tourney buyins I have planned for. Then return to vegas on the 27th I think and play the $1k plo tourney in Binions which is 20k starting stack. This leaves me with $16k left for the $10k plo and nlh so if I have not cashed from my first 4 tournies I am going to have to satty in to 1 of them are settle for one of the $10k events prob nlh and a smaller event.
Been playen a bit of 50/100 plo today as the game looked vg. Bought in for $6k got out when I had $16k stack. Game was v juicy but 3 ppl had me coverd and had no real interest in playen the $35k pot. So ahead $10k or so today so far.

Taking it easy

Have not really been palyen a huge amount. Played very very little last week, but I was playen hi stakes and won some really big pots in 25/50 so finished the week $11k ahead or so. To be honest I am not grinding enough, but I am not in the mood to and theres no point if your not in the zone as you just wont play well. Goin try get a few more hours in this week.
I am runnin seriously well. I am holdin in so many pots. As a result I have had 3 5 figure winning weeks in a row.

Heater

Been on a serious heater for the last 24 hrs or so. Won in the regoin of slightly over $15k. Playen 5/10, 10/20 and 25/50 plo and 10/20 and 25/50 nlh. Got most of success thankfully in the 25/50. Got some nice holds.
Won the $10k in nlh 25/50 on a flop of j109 rainbow get it all in with 99 (setter) v 1010. Thankfully I hold. All so scooped a $12k pot in 25/50 plo. I was actually a small dog in this pot, I was 44% but there was $2k in the middle from pre flop action. Won most on my money on gjp where the games were well mental.
Taken the night off, well not entirely hoping to be playen some credit card roullete later, so hopefully I can extract some +ev in that.

On the way back

Have played very little but got about $3k back, so down about $4k for the week now. Planning on putting in a some hours tonight. To be honest very little else going on.

Nipping in and out

Potted for about 22 mins today. Enjoyed the weather got into the gym twice for two quick sessions. Did a driving lesson, which is always fun listening to just how dangerous you are behind a wheel.
First 7 mins session came just before I was about to go for doctors appointment (looking into gettin a third arm put on so I can control 3 mouses instead of just 2, I hear it can be serious + ev with 3 arms I could play 75,000 tables at .10/.20 break evening but making €600 on rake back a week, Yes that is an un sly dig at all you pathetic .5/1 grinders) and was going to shut down my laptop. See a good 2 handed 25/50 table.

Giving my parents a lift somewhere in the evening, so went to turn off lapper, not even a value player sitting in the 10/20 but I needed a gamble. Played for 15 mins and lost $800.
Glad I am not in the mood for playen to much at the mo cause games are v bad.

Burned outed

Defo need a small break. Didnt play yesterday. Have played about 1 hr total today. Was winning $2k from 2 15 mins session. Just did $9k there in about 40 mins so just goin not play anymore. Didnt play that badly but I didnt play well. $9k might seem alot but it was only 2 and a bit $3k buyins at 25/50 and 2 $1k buyins in at 5/10.
I have cut my acc's so just goin grind low stakes this week when I do play. Going to take advanteage of the good waether and play some golf this week all so have loads jobs to get done before vegas so going to use this week to get them done.
I put in a sick amount of hours last week and think I won $26k which is prob my profitable week as a poker player ever. If I can grind some of the $7k I am down this week as a result of the last hour I will be happy.
Looking at my last post there, was obv drinking when I made it. Bit cringy and prob a bit too honest, taught about taking it down but I decided not to as ppl prob have copied and pasted it and will just email everest with it and I will get done for my wsop ticket(private joke so if you dont no what I am talken about forget it). While there was defo want of a better word in some places it did kinda some up my annoyance with myself.
Oh finally good old lol in Galway, Introduced credit card rouelette to the normies when it came to paying for the meal on the last night. Credit card roulette is where when the bill comes you all put your cards in a hat, pick out 1 and that person pays. Needless to say they loved it. 2 of the lads have the same first name, obv one of them came out. So when the waiter said Niall, we got a solid drum roll in as the lads cautiously beckoned him to announce the surname.

Sickness

Did the sickest piece of degeneracy I have prob ever done last night. Came home fairly pissed last night. Got in to a 10/20 plo on cake. Up 1500 or so and I get a sick cooler in a $6.5k pot. Go on to play badly and do $6k in the game before the games breaks. Steaming pissed and steaming on tilt I go in to 50/100 nlh. Down to $6k from my $10k buyin I decide if I am goin down it will be on a sick bluff. Before I no it I am on $17k connecting with dick all flops. I have the guy on the ropes but reality is kickin in. I AM PLAYIN 50/100 NLH. So I decide not to get greedy and sit out up 1k. As soon as I wake up check the acc to make sure it wasnt a dream. Played v little today went to the beach etc and other such activities that normies do. Headin out again and goin hide my laptop although I am up $10k for the week playen under the inlfuence.

All jokin aside, discipline is something I have worked on and now pride myself upon. Since I have gone full time I have reduced leaks close to zero. I am out of my natural envoirment(in galway) and as a result I played drunk. This could have cost me $15k. Luckily I won $1k but if I had done my money it would have taken me along time to get over both financially and mentally. I am running v well and feel like un beatable at the mo, mix this with drink and you have a super cocky oshy on your hands. Keeping your feet on the ground can be hard when your dealing with the kind of money that I am winning at the mo, but I have to rember I am on a heater and tougher times await. Even tough I won $1k last night I am very disapointed with my behaviour.

You snooze you lose

After I finished my blog yesterday was about to go fo dinner with the lads in the hotel when I see a good 25/50 plo gameon GJP. Get stacked for $3k when I am a 70% favourite. Tell the lads to order me a burger and rebuy for $5k. They ring me to tell me its ready. Games still really juicy. I leg it down grab the burger and leg it back to the room, obv lads are like wtf can you not even leave it alone to eat for 5 mins(normies dont understand value and there is no value in us creeps trying to explain it to them). By the time they make it back I have won $7k. Scooped the $10k pot getting some fish to do all his money on the river. The pot was $600 on the river and we play the $10k pot, pretty much unheard of at 25/50 unless you have a major fish on your rod.
I am now on cake and its quite fishy. So decided to play some 25/50 nlh as was told there are some decent spots hu. Buy in for $3k, first hand all in pre with ak v a10 and I hold. wp sir. He rebuys for $5k and we play the $10k pot as follows.
I am button and pop it to 15o with 46 suited.
RR to 500 by him and I call.
Flop 578 rainbow, normal enough flop.
He leads for 900. Smoothing him nicecly.
Turn 10 and he leads for 2k and I shove for 3600.
Call with kk. Drawing dead.
He actually tightended up and started playen decent after that so I legged it plus $9k.
Just a little over $23k ahead for the week now, although I wouldn't bat an eye lid if I ended the week level as I am very swingy the last few days but $30k would be a nice week.

Takin a break, ah yeah

Well down in Galway all I have done since arived is potted, finished now(unless theres no gg's and there obv will be cause its fri). Sick hand in the 25/5o since I arrived here. I misread my hand and get it all in on the flop for the $6.5k pot. However by mis reading my hand I am 71% favourite instead of 67% verus the villian if I had the hand I taught. But the out I taught I had hits the turn and I miss all draws on river. Obv better the way it worked out in terms of poker equity bull shit....... But where the fecks my $6.5k pot. Played yesterday did well. Not quite sure how much I won. This week has been a mess as I have been in sooooooo many big pots. Defo the biggest week of poker life in terms of amounts betted.
As it stands I am up $9k fot the week.
Not goin bother playing the wsop tourney in Galway tonight. To often in the past I have streched myself to thin and fallin between two stools. If I played and missed a ticket and a night out I would be majorly pissed. With that hanging over I dont think I would be properly mentally preped for a reasonable buyin. Instead I will prob head in there after for some drunken plo. Hear there are so gg's in there sometimes.
